♥ Books Books Books ♥

Like I mentioned in a previous blog, Im addicted to books ! Since I have a lot of them that I liked , I thought I would share with you again :) Last time I talked about a series of books with some relatively horror/suspense filled content , so today I am going to head in a lighter direction.

The author this time is Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez. This woman is the queen of chick-lit ! I have read 5 of her books and loved each one. Today I will focus on 2 of them, Dirty Girls Social Club and Dirty Girls on Top ; two books that follow a group of girlfriends over a period of a few years. It shows the bonds of friendship and relationships and how each are affected by the choices we make. Each character shares her story in her own voice,which makes the literary structure of the books quite different and interesting. Alisa manages to give strength, humor and heart to these women and of course a whole lot of sass :)

I truly enjoyed these books and if you are lucky enough to find both, I suggest reading them one after the other since there are so many characters involved, and its nice to remember who everyone is when starting the second book :)
