♥ Books for Fall

There, its out !
I devour books and my shelves are packed with so many books that I am constantly boxing ones I've read !

Fall and Winter are the perfect seasons for a good read, curled up in a chair with tea or hot chocolate ... or maybe in the bath where you can 100% immerse yourself in whatever you are reading. Its just so much more enjoyable during these colder months !

Im sure, given my book obsession, that this will be the first of many blogs about books I suggest you read ... lets get started !

This recommendation is for a book series I LOVED. Of the many books I've read, are some of the most enthralling ones that I've had the pleasure of devouring ! The author behind this amazing series is Chelsea Cain. I discovered her books about Archie Sheridan and the Beauty Killer about a year ago and have since read all of them. There are 5 ( so far ) and each one was beyond difficult to put down !!

Now, if you don't like suspense and a little bit of horror/gore, these may not be the books for you.
In fact I was slightly beside myself after reading the first of the series ( HeartSick ), but found myself NEEDING to read the second ( Sweetheart ) despite my dislike of horror/suspense/thriller/gore movies.
I guess it isnt as bad when you read it as when you are seeing it!

The third book in the series ( Evil at Heart ) was quite the page turner, the forth ( The Night Season ) was a nice change up that focused less on the Beauty Killer character and more on Archie Sheridan, and the fifth (Kill you twice ) brings you right back to the original format where we are captivated once more by Archie, as well as the Beauty Killer and her secrets. Chelsea Cain knows how to write 5 books about the same characters without boring you ... in fact I've been left wanting more !!

    



I cannot wait until the sixth book comes out , I fear it will finally be the last in the series, but I am sure that it will end the journey with a BANG ! There is also a rumor that there might be a TV network making the books into a TV show , so watch out for that all you horror story lovers !!
